Writing is one of my passions and have jotted down my thoughts and ideas throughout my life.  When traveling, I’ve chronicled my journeys to be reminders to myself but also have, at times, shared them.  Over time, much of what I have written has been lost but I have recovered my Vietnam and Korea musings as well as my postings throughout my European trip last year.  Those trips are separately categorized above.

I have almost completed my seventh decade on this earth, frequently travel alone, am the oldest of ten incredibly smart, beautiful, talented siblings who are my best friends in this world.  My family is my rock and that includes all my brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins…

I am unabashedly conservative but respect the views of others.  Having said that, my site is not intended to be a political blog, but my inherent values do affect my outlook on life and thus, my thoughts.
